Let me just say up front, there is nothing that would complete my world like a Led Zeppelin reunion (tht's a lie, the release of the Watchmen movie next year will be the greatest day of my life, but that's another topic).  Since the one-off reunion last year the rumours have been running rampant that the legends would embark on a world tour and break records for "most lucrative" tour in the history of the world.  I'm 33 and I never had the opportunity in my adult life to see Zep!  From the footage I saw of the one-off, they might not be 100%, but an 85% performance from the greatest rock band in history (my opinion) would still be life changing.  It seems that the only hold out has been Plant so the band has decided to consider a plan B.  Dee Snider is the source so I guess that has to be considered, but here's the gossip he's dishing:    

TWISTED SISTER frontman Dee Snider, whose manager apparently also works with Robert Plant, has told MuchMoreMusic's Matt Wells that LED ZEPPELIN members Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonhman have tapped ALTER BRIDGE singer Myles R. Kennedy to sing with them on the road tour if Plant refuses to join them for the much-rumored ZEPPELIN reunion tour. "They're saying [to Robert], 'We're all rehearsed, we're ready to go, here's a gazillion dollars on the table," Snider told MuchMoreMusic. "If you don't do it, we're going out with this kid. And he can sing the shit out of ZEPPELIN.' And they're gonna, like, hope that Robert, at the last minute, will go, 'OK,' and step in, before having the lead singer of ALTER BRIDGE out with John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Jason Bonham."

I'd rather the original recipe Zepellin, obviously, but I would come out of pocket to see Myles give it a go.  Right now he's one of the greatest rock vocalists out there right now.
